The fabric reminded its designer of Quebec, the French part of Canada, hence naming it the Acadie tunic, after the French colony. Nathalie Gras who runs Chocolatine Boutique on Etsy is also French, however she shares her time between San Diego, California, Brussels, Belgium and France (where she visits her family and searches for unique fabrics). Paris and its garment district at the bottom of the Butte Montmartre is a prime destination for this mum of two daughters, who sells her handmade French children’s couture and accessories at her Etsy store. Australians and Americans love Chocolatine Boutique (this is where most of Nathalie’s orders come from), but she’s also shipped her designs to Canada, the Italian part of Switzerland, Sicily, Italy, Norway, the UK, Germany, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea and, believe it or not, France!
Keep it nice!
